About my experience to pharmacy licensure exams.

Thanks guys... without your help it was impossible for me because I failed twice FL MPJE and one time NAPLEX after reading so many things. Let me start from the first.

I finished my Masters of pharmacy from Lancaster, UK and was persueing my ph D in pharmacology there. Then, I moved to USA couple years ago and started my intership as pharmacist intern. I was successfully qualified in May for these exam.

I read everything at a glance as I thought these exam might be easy for ph D student and I was doing ph d in pharmacology. But I forgot that this test is about the real time practice not the research based exam. I wasn't forum person before so I was not reading each and every post. I took my NAPLEX during the end of the May. I got my result 73. Unfortunately, I needed to wait for 91 days.

My friends were saying that you can not find good resources for the MPJE. They recommended me to buy the TataMcGrow Hill book and read FL board site. Well, I gave my first MPJE test end of the june. My results was 67.

I was so shocked because I thought I knew everything but questions were so random and I was not figure it out even what they are asking.....

I read the protopass MPJE review and the pharmsuccess. I scheduled my test on third week of august... I read everything for two months... but still got the score... 68...

On the same day, I called BOP and asked them good resources. But they told me that call NABP or refer their site.. I was so stucked in between... I couldn't sleep good either. I started googling each and all possible resources. But I found out about prempje. But I was so scared to use because it might b e another flop show... after tata mcgrowhill, prontopass, pharmasuccess..

At my job, my supervisor jimmy told me to read thoroughlly guide to fedral law book at least twice and practice alot at prempje. So, finally decided to give one more chance to prempje. I read book twice within 15 days and I used to take one prempje test. The score was kind of weird because it was not consistent... But anyway questions are much more similar like original tests regarding DEA forms, adulteration/misbranding, what should be on label, and labelling technique all the odds.. etc.

Finally, I was ready for my third try and I did it... and I got 87. Now, it's turn to start naplex study... Bunch of books with a lot of material.

But this time i was giving more weightage to the COUNSELLING.... not the research.... I read the APhA... I was good at the math. So, I did not give that much importance to that. I was about to buy the prontopass but too expensive and It look confusing for me... Luckly I found the Naplex Digest site (which is no longer available now to the students) and that helped me alot too..

Took exam few days ago and i got my results today

Thanks guys for reading my long story..

Thank you Ginas202.

Your success story is detailed and particularly honest. You picked up the pieces and relentlessly gave shots such that in the end you came out such a brand of Pharmacist. You scored almost twice the required NAPLEX points even though it came out of sweat and tears.
You sure now make a good Pharmacist that will leave no patient/physician wanting for knowledge at a level that is an exclusive reserve of a RPH. Those that have been reading your post have been richly blessed and consider you endowed.
Congratulations and thank you again.
