Hi there,
I also took my Naplex on Nov 6th and had the same experience as fpgee1. The questions were very random, from everywhere. I had 4-5 questions on how to calculate relative risk, p value and odds ratio. I also had 3 questions from some surgical procedure which I have never heard. I don't even remember the name of the procedure. It was harder than prenaplex. Good Luck! |

Hi, all! I took the Naplex Nov 6th and I must say I think I failed it. Not like most people here say they did and then passed it with more than 100 but actually failed it. It is true I didn't prepare long enough and I came down with the flu the week of the exam (last week) and I could barely sleep at night with my sinuses, etc. Of course that is no excuse to not have been studying before but I swear the stuff they asked was totally random. I wasn't expecting statistics although I did try to answer the questions to the best of my knowledge. Overall, I found myself guessing a LOT and that's bad bc I'm a horrible guesser. I was hoping math would save me but I didn't have as many math questions as I thought I would. Did have HIV (no Onc), millions of profiles and the random drug adr and kay questions we all love.
I have been very depressed over that stupid exam for a whole week now and still haven't gotten anything on the mail and the online thingy for my state (MI) doesn't tell me anything. I didn't take the pre-NAplex before I went in. I think I should have rescheduled my exam when I knew I was sick so I didn't have to go thru with it so unprepared and feeling so bad....anyway, I guess I'll start studying earlier this time around and wait 3 months to re take it.... I feel like I let myself down and I don't think there is anything I can do to feel better...Thanks for letting me share my frustration and I better start reading for the MPJE. |
