Took Naplex today 9/5

Hey guys,

I am new to the forum but have been reading these boards the last couple of days. I took my Naplex today and had a few questions for you guys. I am very confused about how I did.

I got very few calculations, maybe about 20 distributed througout the test, and I was getting chemo, AIDS, and Organ transplant questions by about the 40-50 question point. I probably got about 15-20 questions between those 3 topics. My initial thought was I must be doing Ok at that point, but then I had quite a few intermediate difficulty questions which I wasn't so sure on and the questions became pretty easy towards the tail end, ending with a few calculations about TPN, compounding, etc. I was wondering if that is a bad sign to end the test that way. Maybe I am just nitpicking but for those that know more about this exam, is this normal or is it cause for concern? Would really appreciate any input.

Also, anyone know the turnaround time to find out the score in CA? Thanks in advance.

To be honest, the questions were from all over the place. There was no real emphasis on any particular class of drugs or disease states. I had a few questions of endometriosis, General chemotherapy and prostate cancer, HIV drugs, Opportunistic infections, even some solid organ transplantation. I had very little on cardiac meds and the rest of the disease states outlined in Apha were spread fairly evenly throughout the exam. Like i said, no real emphasis on a particular disease state (I don't know if that is good or bad for me).

But one question that really really annoyed me was a question about one of the biologics for RA, and the question asked which one is not a side effect: nausea, vomiting, headache, tachycardia, fever.

I had no idea how well I had done after my NAPLEX. Lots of statistics questions I didn't know the answer to, lots of HIV, I ended up getting a 130. Don't worry now I got my result one week after the test, but I live close to Sacramento
