    Thumbs up RxPrep

I just thought I'd share my success story on how I passed the NAPLEX the first time I took it. The only materials I used for studying were the RxPrep book, the online RxPrep quizzes and I also attended the RxPrep live seminar at my school. The information provided by Dr. Shapiro and Dr. Brown was very helpful. The only suggestion I have is that you find a reliable source for calculations practice, because the problems covered in the text and online were much easier than those that appeared on the actual exam. The PharmPrep case study book is also helpful, just for practice purposes as well as the PreNAPLEX exam. The APhA book was too difficult to get through, but a few of my collegues used it. Nonetheless, I would recommend the RxPrep course over any other prep course.

    Pre-NAPLEX

    Hi DrShay,

I am also using RxPrep and is loving it. Same content with APhA yet presented, tabulated and worded soooo much better. I will be taking my NAPLEX in a month and I just tried the Pre-NAPLEX yesterday. I passed (Pre-NAPLEX) but my question is: will the NAPLEX set-up be really like the Pre-NAPLEX? It bothered me (because I felt it wasted time) that I still have to click on attachments/resource button, and then wait for a window to open, and then from that window, click on View Profile or Calculator, then the next window showing either Profile or calculator opens. And then for the next question, even if it was the same profile, I still need to go through the whole process of clicking those buttons again. With all the clicking before being able to see view a profile (that might be irrelevant to the question anyway), it just makes me anxious answering the question; which is never good. Is that really how it will be in the NAPLEX? Please clarify. Thanks!

I apologize for taking so long, but i locked myself out of my account lol. Couldn't remember my pw lol. But from what I can remember, the profile was on the same screen as the question, you just scroll down to answer the question. Don't be anxious, I think you're going to do great regardless of how it might be set up. Just make sure you come back and let me know the good news after you pass.

    I passed the NAPLEX

I think to pass the NAPLEX test you have to study if possible the last editions of:

Ashp's Naplex Review 4th Edition, and Reference Guide for Pharmacy Licensing Exam-Questions and Answers 3rd Edition.

If you do that you'll be ready to pass this test. I would like to share my books with you, but I don't know how.
