Hi All ,
Can anyone tell me the following information: I have passed my FPGEE, TOEFL exams. I am taking TSE exam and getting 40 score. But lucky thing is FL borad doesn't require TSE for Internship. So, I have got my Intern License and completed my Internship. My question is can I write NAPLEX exam without having TSE score ????? Pls advise me. So, that I will take this test and meanwhile I will prepare for TSE also. Pls post ..... thanks. |

Hi Chjosh
Did you get an sponsor for H1-b without 50 in TSE?. I'm looking for a position in FL, I have cleared FPGEE, TOEFL and TSE ( 45 ). I have applied for FL intern license and I got a SSN deficiency letter. Could you give me some contact of any recruiter or manager who are hiring interns? My e-mail is marcelaberardo@yahoo.com.ar Thanks |

Im confused. I thought you have to complete all the requirements {FPGEE,TSE(50),TOEFL(213)} before NABP can issue the FPGECertification??So does it mean that you don't have the FPGECertification yet but you can be an intern? Im just confused. Because here in California, they require FPGECertification first before you can be an intern. Plus NABP requires a 50 for TSE right (regardless of state)?so it means NABP won't release the Certificate until you completed the requirements.
Thanks. |

if you check the Naplex Bulettin at the NABP website for the registration form, there are items in the questionnaire about FPGEC status
> If you have taken the FPGEE but have not passed: "Yes/Failed" > If taken the FPGEE and passed but not yet received FPGEC certificate: "Yes/Passed" > If passed FPGEE and received FPGEC Certificate: "Yes/Certified" what is not entirely clear to me is, based on exemptions from the state where the internship was made - does NABP give ATT for Naplex without FPGEC cert?? if they do, do they withold the license until FPGEC cert is submitted? If not, then states like FL is a safe haven for people without cert due to the dreaded TSE... can somebody here give some light on this issue? Thanks |

Hi ,
In FL, you dont require TSE score to become Intern. But for writing NAPLEX u need TSE score. We need to call Chain pharmacy stores, they will hire if you have Intern certificate in FL. But you need SSN to get Intern certificate from FL. There are quite no. of vacancies in CVC in Maimi and Fortlaudle area. Pls try. |

Hi friends
Anybody knows if is possible to get an intern position in FL with TSE 45? I need visa sponsorship, and I guess that nobody is sponsoring until you have TSE=50. What do you think? chjosh, you said you completed your internship, you are on H1-b visa? Please help me, because I have to decide to quit my job and look for a position in FL. Thanks |

Let's see if this makes it sound easy to understand:
- In FL, you can start your internship without TSE but your hours won't get counted till you have scored 45 or more on TSE. - Once passed FPGEE, TOEFL and TSE(45) and after registering yourself with the state board as an intern, a lot of chains will be willing to sponsor your H1B. Try Kmart, CVS, and other big chains. - You must try to understand, NABP has no role to play in the licensure process except that it conducts the NAPLEX & MPJE exams on behalf of the state board and simply plays by the rules of the state board. - Your state boards approves or disapproves your licensure application, hence you should always clsarify any doubts with your state board. - Once done with your internship, you can apply to the state board for naplex & mpje and once approved take the exams ![]() So, in short, you must pass fpgee (75), toefl (score requirement for FL is less than NABP's) and TSE (score=45 or more). Register with FL board as an intern. Start calling different chain pharmacy stores and get their PDM/DPS' phone numbers to call. If you are in FL, set up an interview or if you are not in FL, they will interview you over the phone. Land yourself into a job, negotiate your salary and remember to get their lawyer's phone number who will be filing the H1B for you. Complete your internship, apply to state board for naplex and mpje and make sure you prepare well to get your licensure Congratulation!!![]() |
