MPJE done,out of here!!
See ya folks nice talking with ya,i am relicensed and thank God done!
mpje is easy, basic logical q's....reiss's 4th edition is great book for study and reference for later...my state(NV) asked just major q's of law...alot on control subs, emergency kit in LTC,conditions of when pharmacy is open when rx is not in..etc...alot of q's from everywhere...just study a month solid, you will pass...use your internship knowledge, circumstance you see in practice. |

reiss's federal law book---excellent book review of federal law, easy to read....the questions were M/C, K type questions, questions were staright forward,if you know your stuff and have logic, common sense you will pass...lot easier than the naplex.

Congrat! Neilzap
Congratulations! Neilzap
you finally finished your long journey for pharmacist. i hope i will soon. and always thank you for your sharing information. it really help us a lot. i read the your post reply to my question and really full of info. i live in NY state so i have to take naplex before internship. do you think it is too difficult to pass exam before internship? i guess internship experience would be so helpful for the exam but my condition doesn't allow it. could you tell me your opinion about it? how internship helps the exam more specific, if you don't mind? and one more question, i read naplex bulletin for score transfer and says the score transfer should be asked before and on the day of exam to be effective. so don't we transfer the score later? don't you have any friends in this situation or haven't heard any this kind? in fact, we don't know exactly right now to which state we move in the future. in my case, i finish naplex and internship in NY and want to move to other states because NY asks greencard for licensure at last. so my questions encounters my mind but it seems to be very hard to ask every question to the boards. i would appreciate it. thanks and congrat again. bruni |

Its true bruni, the board are not always worth coming with information, but i just badger them anyway,i never had any immigration issues and foreign pharmacy issues so i am lucky...the stories Earthlings tell on this MB and yahoo are incredible! I think the internships help alot, you get to know the brand/generics,Iv drugs,OTC, imp adverse rxns, counseling etc. Funny that in NY you dont need internships before naplex,CT did for me back then,i guess lots of states do that. If i were you,do the internships first then take the naplex, you have to take them later anyway. Dont worry about it though, if are strong with therapeutics, calculations, top 250 drugs you will pass,no sweat..90% do.
xfering scores shouldnt be a problem when you reciprocate with NABP they do all that, they ask yr original state all this info then xfer the info/scores and its pretty easy now with the internet. |

Hi neilzep
thanks for your info. and i have something to be cleared when i read your post. i know the transfer of the score is possible through nabp. but do you think the score is still effective after all that internship in NY? i mean it takes 2080 hrs to finish the internship here so almost one year already have passed since i took the naplex. do you think other state's board recongizes the score already 1 year old? so many thoughts come and go in my mind. and it is so confusing. here the regulations for licensure is so strict because each has its own regulations. i really want to finish this. anyway, good luck in your future. bruni |
