California Intern License application

Hello,

I need some guidance about intern license of CA. I am on H4 visa. Can I still do the live scan test which is required to get intern license without SSN?

Hi samesh,

It is a fingerprint test. I do not know the exact procedure. But i think so you have to request these cards from CA board of pharmacy and u have to go to nearest police station to do the fingerprint test.

Hi,
California board requires FPGEC and Live scan.
If you are in california or if you have access to california, you can get live scan there it self.
Only if you are not able to go california for live scan, you can request the finger print sheets, which can be done in the presence of a professional (even I did not understand this exactly)
Board website mention that they need atleast two months time to get verification about our FPGEC from NABP.
But, I dont know the actual time it takes to get the intern permit. This information we can get only from those who got intern permit from CA.
this is all I know,
please post any other information you folks know.
I am also interested in CA.
