in that case, you need to take mpje too because it goes into reciprocity.
    i guess.
you better check with the texas board.
    good luck.

    mfpgee,
Yes it's difficult to get NY's verification ,yet it's not impossible. They will ask u to fill in 2 forms, one u send it along with $270 and another one which is form 2 u send it to thy college in thy country and the dean must fill it in and issue a transcript (which is not easy in my country cuz nobody can do that...lol) and then u get thy other documents like...thy registration and license to be translated into english and then your college must send the form 2 along with the transcript directly to NY board of pharmacy. After that u have to wait for probably 3-6 months to get a letter of approval (if u were approved and they didn't ask for additional documents). NY board of pharmacy doesn't trust in NABP's documents, they have to check it out themselves, even if they saw thy FPGEE certificate, they don't trust it.

    Guys,
YES u can take thy naplex anywhere u want and take the MPJE of any other state.
About transferring the naplex score, before naplex,u pay $75 for each state u want to transfer to. Some people say if u wanna do that after naplex, u'll pay more than the $75, others say u can't transfer thy score after naplex and that u have to ask for that before naplex, but i don't think this's true. I think u'll have to pay more than the $75, that's what i think. Anyway it's better to check with the board.

    documents vertification

    sub_zero,
    Thank you for your reply.
I called NY board ,they told me even if i passed Taxes Naplex,as a foreign graduate ,they still need to vertify all my documents?
    i am confused.
i dont think it will be easy for my university (in Egypt)to fill forms and stuff like this.it seems complicated.
Also,i dont want to waste my time waiting.
    i need advice.

    THANK YOU.

Yeah, that's right,i forgot to tell u that. Texas naplex is just a step for u to save the time while u'r getting thy documents. In other words, rather than trying to get thy documents and wait to be sent to them and wait for their verification and approval to take the naplex,u can go through texas naplex while u'r getting the documents from thy country,so it's gonna safe time.
All i can tell u is that,u apply for texas naplex which is gonna be easier than applying for ny naplex and less in time, then at the same time, try to get thy documents from thy country, and once it is sent to the ny board, they will start the verification, and after u get the texas naplex,u transfer thy score into NY and they will be already having thy documents and it'll be already verified.

    P.S. Are u egyptian?...same here.
I know how hard it it to get it from there, but it's not impossible. We can discuss that if u want.

But, the big question is" does NY has good opportunities for Pharmacists??? especially those those who will need H1B? I heard some where that NY is really saturated for pharmacists!!! so why NY board complicates things than they r already!!! moreover 2000 hours internship,

Our UNIV's in Egypt , I doubt they would do that and fill in forms they would think it is TAXS and they will doubt the applicant and then complicated things moreeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

    LUCK.

    hi sub_zero,
    yes i am egyptian.

regarding NY documents vertification.when i read their education requirements ,i noticed that they require :social and behavioral sciences and humanities ..to be included in our pre-pharmacy program !
i am worried as we didnt take any of these during our first year.
Do you think they will ask us to take these courses to meet their requirements?

Another question please ,what is the difficulty level of the practical exam(compounding)?

    THANK YOU IN ADVANCE

    Hi mfpgee,
Regarding thy first question, it's just a matter of routine, in other words,u print out form 2 for ny and this form has options for choosing which course u've got during thy studying and u know very well that in Egypt, they don't care about that,u just give them the money they want and they'll do it. All they have to do is that they'll mark on every course u've got before and that's not hard, in other words, there, they care only about money,so i think it's easy. NY board of pharmacy is pretty hard regarding this matter, and i think if they know that u missed a course out of their requirements, they will ask u to take it over here.

Regarding the 2nd question about this compounding test, i heared it's very hard, many people said it's pretty hard,so u have to find a way out to avoid that test.
U can apply for texas naplex and NJ MPJE,then transfer thy naplex score to NJ&NY (just in case), then when u'r done being licensed in NJ,u can transfer thy license to NY, so u'll only have to go through NY MPJE without compounding. But to apply for texas naplex,u must have a SSN and an ID card.
And also this will give u enough time to get thy greencard, because in ny to be licensed,u must have at least a greencard or u'll be licensed for a limited 3 years and it's not gonna be renewed. So as soon as u'r done with those 3 years in ny,u'll have to find another way,as on the regular basis,if u get thy H1B visa now,u'll not be able to get thy greencard before at least 5 years.
That's what i think is right.
    Ron

    Hi subzero,
    I have a question ,
As we apply for Texas naplex ,this means that Texas is our primary state?
