Phenobarbital Calculation
Please help me solve this problem.
A 60Kg male patient has been on phenobarbital 15mg TID for several years .His blood level is 7.5mcg/ml which is not in the therapeutic range of 15-40mcg/ml . How do you adjust the dosage to be in the therapeutic range(therapeutic) ? when should be his next blood check ? and how frequent should this pt be monitored? |
