There were various reasons,like terrible working condition,very unprofessional people.....
I have my hours signed for. If you have problems at work,try to work on it first,speak to DM......which is what I did but somehow they did not like the fact that I complained so things got worst.But it might work in yor case. |

I have gone through what Ninah & Melissa are talking about. My problem was with one lady who called herself "Assistant Pharmacist" because she had worked in that store for more than 10 years. She didn't want to accept the situation that a foreign grad with a funny accent would soon be in possession of the C-II keys. Just act professionally and don't let anybody play games on you. If you get any problems at work talk first with the immediate boss (pharmacy manager). If it is the pharmacy manager that's abusing you, seek assistance at the next management level (District Manager). Try to avoid contacting the Board about the matter unless you face the extremes.

Ninah,
That's good to know. How difficult was it to find an internship after that. I live in Orange County and it's very hard to find an intern position. Also this new one you found, is it in a Hospital or retail? Last edited by knok : 08-31-2008 at 08:06 PM. |

It was very hard to find an opening after that ,as I also live in OC and you know how saturated it is.My new job is in a hospital and they pay me much less,but I am sooooooooooooo happy here,my bosses are amazing and I am learning so much. It took me a while to find this new job ,but if you look hard,you will find one. Good Luck |

Have you finished your Intern hours now? I tried talking to DM but they were not interested,and when I asked if they could transfer me to another store,they just said that they do not have anymore hours for me and I was jobless the next day. |

I am not very much concerned about the pay, but only the hours. I tried to do a PM but your profile is not setup for it. If you can send me a PM it would be great.
