Maryland pharmacy intern license

Hello all,
I passed the ibt TOEFL and finally I have my board certificate.
I want to do my internship in Maryland.
I sent an application to the board of Maryland ad asked for an internship liscence. I recieved the following reply from them:
Maryland does not license intern nor regulate them. You may solicit a pharmacy who is willing to accept you as an intern. For licensure requirements you may download the application and requirements from our website under Maryland Board of Pharmacy - Part of the Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.

Is this real?
Please advise me.

Yes, it is true. Maryland does not issue license for interns. Your supervisor/employer will need to record the number of hours you complete on the appropriate form and you will have to submit this form at the end of the internship. I think everything is on their website.

Are you a US or foreign citizen? I am also interested in doing an intership in MD. Can you please keep us updated on the process?

Even I am in Maryland. Please help me out how to apply for the intern. I mean we need both FPGEE score and TOEFL score in order to apply for the internship. And also how we have to approach.

Not sure if you read this document before (from the website of MD Board of Pharmacy) http://www.dhmh.state.md.us/pharmacy...AQ-foreign.pdf

#2 states "Foreign graduate pharmacist candidates may earn internship hours before completing the FPGEE examination". My understanding is that you can start your internship before the toefl (if you find a pharmacy willing to take you).

I passed the FPGEE and I am going to take to toefl in a few weeks. I will contact the big chain pharmacies as soon as I clear the English exam. Where are you in MD? I am in Baltimore. What is your plan?

Hello guys, anyone knows which states do not issue internship license, except MD?
I've passed FPGEE but not TOEFL ibt required points.
My overall TOEFL ibt is 82, not sufficient of 89 suggested by NABP.
So, I'm looking for the state that I could start internship just w/o TOEFL.
