I just had an interview with a graduate school in Paris for an economics program. I know it the US it is protocol to send a thank you note but how is it regarded here? My boyfriend who is French told me it is creepy and too friendly for the French. What are your experiences or thoughts, especially with French schools. It was an in person interview as I live in Paris now. Also, it didn't go as well as I'd hoped so I'm hoping it can save me a little. I have a Poli Science background and am trying to do the transfer over to International Economics and I couldn't clearly explain why. Thanks!
