Why do people go to college?

People are interesting to go to college. Youngers and older people are expected to obtain a seat in the college, in order to study.
People hope to develop their abilities, skills and obtain a higher knowledge in order to obtain the dreamed certificate and be a good professional.
Many years ago people didn´t understand or didn`t know the value of going to colle
ge.
Parents only sent their children to elementary schools or high schools but not more, because they believed that " there was no more.". So when the youngers finished the school, they used to go to work on the land.
Nowsdays, this idea has changed. The society and goverment, help youngers to go to college, in order to obtain a certificate and have a good opportunity in the world.
Certainly in actual days, go to college is not a problem, what people will nedd to have is only the predisposition.

Even today, I know some people who decide to drop out of college so that they can earn a living. It is not necessary to go to college in order to get a job, but many people believe that college graduates earn more. That is probably why most people try to go to college nowadays. Some exceptions I can think of where people do not need a college degree are when they are actors, singers, painters, or auto mechanics. Even then some of those people still go to college.
