NY intern hours

hi i just finished my 1000 intern hrs in NJ and i'm moving to NY. what should i do ? how many hours required in NY? and what should i do before i take the naplex? can i apply for 2 states at the same time ? thank you all

I'm planning to apply for NJ intern permit,
Could you pls tell me how to approach as I was struggling to find relevant information for intern licensure. Infact, One of the independant pharmacy is ready to sponsor my h1b for next yr.

Hi biomass , if you want to count your intern hours to become registered in NJ, you have to call the NJ board of pharmacy ( you will find the phone # on their web site) and ask for Monique, she is the one responsible for the intern papers, tell her that you are a foreign pharmacy graduate who finished the FPGEE , and ask her to send you the papers to start counting your hours, give her your name and address and she will send you the application. Then you have to fill the first page and the pharmacist who will supervise your training will fill the second page, and you have to include with the application a NOTARIZED COPY of your FPGEE certificate and send them to the board( it will be better if you get them to the board personally to make sure all the papers are OK and to save your time) also remember that you can count up to 45 hours per week, so you can ask the pharmacist to sign for 45 hours even if work less (between you and him if he agrees) to save a couple of weeks. nys requires 1040 intern hours in order to take the board exams. forms to transfer hours are on the state board website

I also stay in NJ.Iam on H4 visa.Can we do intern in NJ without SSN? Is it compulsory to have SSN to do intern hours? In how many months did you get the FPGEC certificate?after writing toefl.Thanks in advance.
