Hi,
Check with NABP.
I heared from my friend that people who graduated after jan 2003,Nabp is not accepting 4 year degree of pharmacy.I really hope and pray you can write fpgee.
Please check NABP <> National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.
Good luck.

Hi
As SuccessFPGEE said, according to NABP current policy you are not eligible to write FPGEE, since NABP requires 5 years of B.Pharm, who has graduated after January 2003. As per my knowledge only option to become pharmacist for the candidates who have graduated after Jan '03 has to do Pharm D in US. You can join in 3rd or 4th year of PharmD. Just read previous threads you can find more info on this concern. Anyway all the best for your future endeavours.

thanks for your information...but do you know what the procedures are for entering into a pharmD progrram? also i g ot another doubt? some colleges require a pass in TOEFL inorder to get admission for foreign graduates....i am a US citizen,....i just did my bachelors in india.....so even if i am a US citizen, do i still have to take the TOEFL?
is there any colleges that accept the evaluation by Examination Credential Evaluators(ECE)?
what should i do next?

correction

Pharm D admission is very competative. first you have to do TOEFL. and score must be 79 and above and most colleges require pre-pharmacy course 2 year because they don't give credit for foreign college course.
you have to ask each colleges and there requirments.
Anyway all the best for your future endeavours.

i contacted NABP. now they are telling even though its the rule that i am not eligible since i am having a four year degree, it might not be true...they are saying it depends on the curriculum that we took...so they told to do the evaluation and then they will tell whether i am eligible for FPGEE. If i am not eligible i will have to take classes. BUt my doubt is whether we have to enter into a PharmD program or just take classes to make up for the year that i am deficient?

Yes yo still have to do the TOEFl eventhough you are citizen. I heard any course work done out of US.(excluding Canada or ?) need to do TOEFL.
Check NABbP website.
Good Luck
