Hi Spomica,
The deficiency letter that is issued by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy in response to the Preliminary Application for Foreign Pharmacy graduates is sufficient for the visa application. My letter stated I needed to provide a copy of my work visa and a social security number. Have you had any luck with finding a position yet? If not all the best for your search! To Ralu, If you dont need a work visa then the FPGEE certificate is all you need for the internship. If you need a work visa then you will also have to apply for an intern license from the Board in the State you are in and get a deficiency letter from them saying you need a social security number etc. You can apply online for internships with the chains such as CVS, Walgreens, Walmart etc. But many of the chains are not hiring except in certain states and in that case you are better off visiting the pharmacies in person. That is how I found my internship. Good luck with everything! |

Thank you Oz Pharmacist for your response! I received my FPGEC yesterday and as soon as I mail the Preliminary Application to the Board I’ll start searching for an internship. I’m glad that you found a sponsor and I’ll certainly follow your advice of visiting pharmacies in person. Thanks for helpful info! All the best,
