    TOEFL apology

    Hello guys,
I gave the test last week . It was in a 'pigeon hole' centre .The place was so congested that while i was giving my speaking section, the centre co-ordinator had to ask me to move a bit, in order to pass me and enter admin passwords for people sitting besides me ,who were also taking the test. I was interrupted 3-4 times , everytime i am speaking over the microphone the guy is asking me to move.
I was dissappointed and frustrated by the experience ,so as soon as i came back i sent a mail to the TOEFL authorities .Today i got a apology letter from them giving me 3 options ,either accept the scores. 2 Get a free voucher for another test. 3 Get refund.
I don't know whether i should test my luck and accept the scores or take retest (but when i remember the torture of 5 passages reading and 5 of listening ) what do you think i should do?

    Hi Explorer on

In my opinion your decision should depend on your feelengs after the speaking section. If you think that your answer was not very bad even if you were interupted many times, so you should not take a retestand just wait for your score. But practice shows that people who need high points like 26 or higher in the speaking section take this test many times. For many people It is unlikely to get 26 in the first attempt.
I think you have to decide on your own.

I just got my Toefl scores. Reading 30, Listening 28, Writing 28, Speaking 24. Should I ask for a re-score of my speaking? This is soooo terrible. Can someone let me know the procedure for re-scoring?
    Thank you

    My 2 cents...

From what I read in the forum, the rescoring process is rather unpredictable.

In my first attemp I got your same score. I took the test a second time because I didn't want to waste time waiting for the rescoring, with the possibility of getting a lower score. In the second test I had the score I needed.

    Good luck!

    thanks Anacleto85.
I am registering for another one right away.
You've answered my questions speedily in the past, are you all hooked up in an internship position now? I hope you are not in the H1 debacle like I will be soon.
    Good luck!!!
