Share your H1B news!!
Hi
Please share your H1B news/ receipt notice/or any other news you hear from your attorneys or employers in this thread. Tomorrow is April 1st - THE DAY, one of the many dates we all have been waiting for since we started this pharmacy business in US. Let others know what is happening. Hopefully all of us will get good news this year. I finally got reply from Walgreens today asking me to try next year. So kudos to Rite Aid. All the best to all of you |

Regardless of how bleak our present circumstances are, do not lose hope. No one has ever experienced unfaithfulness on God's part! allow time for God to reveal His Faithfulness to us. Someday we will reflect on what God has done and praise Him for His absolute faithfulness to us....
God bless us all....let's continue to pray for one another.... hope we could all make it... |

It will be an anxious one month or two before the results are in.
Going by predictions for this year though we have reason to be more hopeful this year than in the past two years especially for those of us who missed it last year at the lottery. Once the number of petitions submitted come short of the cap by the end of the week, we are one leg in. Good luck to all of us. |

H1B 2010 - Lottery?
Most of the reported decrease in number of H1B Visa petitions they have processed compared to last year, but they all believe cap will be meet much before October 1, 2009. Almost all the employers should have submitted the applications yesterday or they should be sending it in a day or two. Happy Schools Blog, will keep you informed about breaking news and updates from USICS and other immigration related sites. Many will be having sleepless nights till USCIS say total number H1B visa applications received for FY2010. Hopefully they will inform in a day or 2 about the petitions, instead of waiting till next week. Since, TARP companies are not willing to file H1B Visa 2010, small companies can take advantage of this opportunity. Effect of the strict hiring rules passed will be know in couple of days. Certainly so many applicants are waiting to see if there is any update, but USCIS haven’t released any H1B 2010 cap details about petitions received on day 1. Some H1B supporters don’t want to have any restrictions, but due to recession, many want to reduce the H1B 2010 cap, but any such move will take time. New bill have to be introduced approved in congress before it can be signed into law. Till then H1B 2010 quota will be 65,000 + 20,000. Hi Pharma King, Patience is a virtue of a king!! Just kidding!! I know how vexing it can be. Even I am waiting!! I think you will have to wait for the count till USCIS announces it on its website. Before that no one can tell you for sure. If anyone else does announce the count before USCIS then its just going to be rumors or their predictions which will never be true. I think USCIS will let everybody know in a day or two, about the status of the count. Keep your fingers crossed. All the best. |
