You will be contacted by rite aid soon,I beleive after they receive replys for all their petititions. They will send you the approval notice along with other documents needed for visa stamping.in the same time, all these documents will be sent to the american embassy as well.
After that, just go to the embassy to stamp the visa and to be in the US around October.Hopefully,we are almost there.
ic, so for those of us abroad, we can't enter the US before Oct ?
Hi,
You can enter the USA only 10 days before 1st October 2009 but you can go for stamping once you get your I-797 and documents from the lawyers. You can only start work after you have got your Social Security Number and that might take a few weeks.
hi tumboka
what if you want to spend some vacation in the US as a tourist in August and come back to your country prior to travelling back to the US on your H1 in October .
any idea?
thank you
Hi bryan55,
Yes, you could. You may have your H1 stamped after you return from your vacation to the US on your B1.
I also learnt that you may also have your H1 stamped, and inform the officer at the port of entry that you would like to enter on B1 rather than H1...
Hope this helps. Happy vacation!! and congratulations!!
I got the news from the USCIS website that my H1B visa is approved today. The Almighty Lord will grant our wishes in His time and this is it. For all those waiting just hang on.. the good news will definitely come. To my Kababayans see you at POEA or Manila embassy!!!
