Hi everyone,
Has any of you in CA faced the problem of having no SSN ?
I have a student visa for the moment and I don't have the right to have a SSN.
How can I do to get the license ?
Thanks by advance for helping me with that issue.

Hi,
I would suggest that you try to some work on campus and then you might get a SSN otherwise you can go to the SSN office and ask them to give you a letter that you are ineligible to get a SSN and then apply for a deficiency letter with Califonia Board. Also call the California Board to get more info, but you can get a dificiency letter without much hassle from the california Board.

hi tumboka,i was trying to get an intern license but SSN seems to be an issue.I tried calling but it was all recorded messages giving directions on what to do .Is there any other suggestions?

HI,
You can let a letter from SSN office near your place and then send that letter along with the application for the intern and ask to speak to customer care someone will respond.

I heard that you can hire a lawyer and he will help you in that. It is very possible so do not worry a lot about it. But, first you have to fins a sponser.
