hi guys
How about the online status at uscis.gov for those who have been informed of their h1b approvals by their employers. I mean does the service center update the online status pretty quickly. Just asking out of curiosity? Thanks guys. |

Congratulations Epi_exam! Good Luck to the rest of us who will still have to go through the Visa Interview. Mine will be on 2nd week of July.
For POEA, you can follow this link for more information, I think all OFW's should go through this steps. Registration of Namehire _ Skilled/Professional Workers If you are not from Manila, Here are POEA regional field offices: Philippine Overseas Employment Administration |

Congratulations epi exam! For me, I went to the embassy last June 25, unfortunately issued a 221g letter. The consul suspended approval ( though she said it is already okay) because it is still too early. I'll just mail my passport again to them by august for the stamping without going there personally. A co-intern which I saw there had the same situation. So maybe it really depends on the consul who will interview you. The interview though is okay. I emailed also James Wickens on who is their accredited agency to process our POEA papers and he said to wait for that information end July or early August. |

Yes Kirstein, I heard that news about some of the cases during the Consular interview. I think that each cases were treated differently depending on the consular officer. My other friend have the same situation as I have. She was interviewed on June 18 and got her passport on June 20 via Air 21. I hope I can get my passport with US working visa stamped on it on Tuesday (June 30).
About the questions asked, well he basically asked to whom I will be working in the US. He also asked what am I doing at my current job and what is my longest stay in the US. He also mentioned at the latter part of the interview that there will be an annotation in my visa that I cannot go to the US not until 10 days before Oct. 1. After that he instructed me to go to the courier (Air 21). That is the entirety of my experience.
