Hello Kababayans!
I'm just wondering why did you have to go through an agency to process your papers with POEA. Is there any complications in processing those papers? Or is it because you guys were advised by Riteaid to contact the agency? I went through the POEA website and the steps are pretty simple. Since (I think) I'm the only Pinoy pharmacist sponsored by CVS in this forum, I'll have it all done myself. Good luck everyone! ![]() |

Hello to all,
its been a while since i have been in this site. still doing my internship..to share regarding winonas question. For a while back, POEA almost did not allow Walgreens interns to leave because of a POEA ruling that companies who directly hire people more than 30, if im not mistaken, should also have an agency in the Philippines. It was because of this that Rite Aid, so to speak, danced with the politics in the philippines and got themselve partnered with an agency. So, i think youre fine winona, as long as poea stamped your papers. As for the rite aid recruits, your names have been handled by finestasia.. and you not be able to do it on your own because all rite aid recruits will reflect in poea database as under the agency. good luck to you guys!! its just a few days and youll be in the states... |

James emailed me but with a different message. My petition was originally in North Carolina but in his latest email he was mentioning that they have needs in other areas such as Tenessee, Kentucky and other states. It will become a sudden change in my plan...I am a little confused about his email.

I suggest that you try to see Ms. Simondac of POEA and ask her what you should do. Before, POEA had this name hire thing( I hope my memory serves me right) wherein they allow a certain number of filipinos to be exempted from going through a recuiter. If your agency has not reached that quota yet, good for you. I am not sure if they still allow this though. POEA has a list of accredited medical clinics for the medical exams. I think the exams/tests will comprise of the usual ones: blood, urine, stool, etc. I will be doing it next week so I can't share with you any detail yet. |
