Is my TOEFL 2003 score still valid?

Hi all,

I am planning to take FPGEE in Oct 2009. I took TOEFL in 2003. Is my TOEFL score valid?

Thanks.

Hi
Did you send the scores to NABP? Ask the customer service of NABP. I am sure if it valid or not?Do you not have to take the TSE?

Below the note from the NABP site.

FPGEC Certification must also successfully complete both the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and the Test of Spoken English (TSE) or TOEFL Internet-based Test (iBT) in order to obtain FPGEC certification. The minimum score for the TOEFL is a score of 213 for the computer-based TOEFL and 550 for the paper-based TOEFL. The minimal passing score for the TSE is a score of 50.
The minimum score for the TOEFL iBT is 24 for Writing, 26 for Speaking, 18 for Listening, and 21 for Reading. Candidates must attain passing scores in each of the four sections reported on one official score report as a result of one testing session. Official score reports with a less than minimum score in any section will not be considered.
Please request that TOEFL/TSE Services submit an official report of your passing TOEFL and TSE scores or the TOEFL iBT score directly to the FPGEC using institution code 9103.

Good Luck

From what I know, toefl scores are only reported by ets for up to two years from the date the exam was taken. So, if you had the exam back in 2003 but the toefl scores were reported to NABP... then NABP just keeps that on file. Well, that's what I know. I asked NABP before if there is an expiration date for TOEFL scores, but they said that once they received it, they just keep that on file. But to be sure, just ask NABP about it. Anyway, good luck on your fpgee!

If I were you, I would take TOEFL or TSE before FPGEE.

Check this out.

Someone posted it before. I believe that it is true.

Hi everybody,

I talked to NABP and they said they would accept my TOEFL scores if they are mailed to them by ETS. But ETS says I will have to take TOEFL again as they dont report scores more than 2 years old. So Iguess I'll have to take the test again .
