Hi everyone,
I need your help to save my life
Here is my story
when I was visiting India, some people approached me saying that I can have some to write my TOEFL exam. Initially was not ready and then got lured. For my shock the whole center was like that everyone is having some one to write for them. It is still happening like that. They took my pic and sign but some else wrote for me.
so, after that I came home US. My score got canceled saying that my voice is not matching with previous one. I think they got suspicious because of high score 117. ETS sent me a letter saying that they could not match my voices and they could not authenticate my work and they say it was not me who took the exam. And they also reported that to NABP saying that score got canceled but they did not disclose the reason.
Now NABP wants to know why my score was canceled. They sent me letter saying that they want the letter that I got from ETS, basing that they want to judge me whether I am eligible for FPGEC or not. They gave me time till July 10th if I don’t send that letter they will disqualify me.
Anyone knows anything about this any suggestions
Till now I haven’t charged for this from ETS side
I have contacted few attorneys but I didn’t get much help
Is this not having good moral character?
I found some thing about good moral character in this site

so there is no hope for me?
If I fight for this do they stamp me saying that I don’t have “good moral character”?
This consequence will affect my work as industrial analyst or other positions in US and my green card?
I appreciate your help

Hello fpegechelp,

You are really in a hot mess. I am not sure there is anyway out of the situation you are in right now. Pray they give you a chance to start all over again, though I doubt that they will.
And this should act as a deterrent to anyone considering this form of exam fraud. A proverb says "it is not how fast you get there, but how well. Just keep walking".

Why ETS has checked your voice after they gave you the score ?

Fpgechelp,

Ets kept the bar very high to achieve 26in the speaking. Some people are looking for the alternatives to get out of the Toefl exam mess. It is each person's responsibiltiy to follow some ethics.

In your case, Ets should first check the test center authnicity. Then later it should blame you. You should point fingers to your test center then Ets must trash out the bad test centers in India and all over the world.

ETS should take action on center in India, how did ETS know about your TOEFL score is for NABP, did you request the ETS to submit your TOEFL score to NABP, Pray to God for situation

You should not say you made a fraud, if you approved that's it, it will end. You have a case you have your photo, and you may be nervous, tension freaked out during the exam. Any way what did you do, did you send the reply to NABP. What did they say. In which center you took the exam.
Your making other people life miserable. If some one Genuine get high scores the NABP think in different way because of your freeking post. Let keep update.

your story explains why sometimes people expressing themselves in such a bad English get hired .....it's unfair to the hardworking ones , much better in all respects ,who get rejected .

What the heck, Is US is an english speaking country, Its a big joke, Think about again, when you say about english one more time.. Be realistic.

Guys,
I have heard that in the past 6 months, atleast 200pharmacists passed toefl in their first attempt scoring atleast 110/120 by doing fraud. Probably many of them might have got their licences too. Who is responsible for this? who are victims from this fraud?
