can anyone tell me about how to apply for rite aid internship in CA?

I contacted them recently, the district manager (N. Cal) was interested and forwarded my resume to the attorney of the company. However the attorney replied and said they stop hiring internationals for this year and asked me to contact them next January. But I need H-1B sponsorship, if you don't need it, it may be different.
