guess they are pretty overwhelmed as all their petitions got approved and now they have to reallocate, terminate some peeps.

Hi All,

I do not know the store I am assigned but my State and city remain as stated in my Petition to Immigration and no request for any change had been made to me by Rite Aid.

Hey guys,
Not heard from any of you after you started your internship. Please let us know how is it going? What are you doing now? Your concerns? How is the job treating you?

It takes time to get Internship started. You may first process Social Security Number and thereafter process an Intern Licence for those on H1B; who could not get it because of requirement for SS# and other delays.

SS Card could take upto 6 weeks to process.
It does really take time to get things started.

you are right nunaya.it may take around 3 months to get started.

SSN will take around a month or so,and the intern license around another two months.and after all that rite aid may need a week or more in paper work before you will be able to work.

So guys,put into consideration that you will spend about 3 months without working

I entered the US Sept 24 and got my SSN October 11. Submitted this to the CABP and now waiting for my intern license...Hope it will be soon..
