Fpgee/toefl Ibt Expiration Date

Hi to everyone,

I'm a little confused right now about the expiration date of FPGEE in relation to TOEFL iBT. I would like to know the expiration date of this exams since I can't find accurate information online, I did read something about this test have no expiration date but something seems to be wrong and I can't risk making mistakes right now.
My situation is as follows: I passed FPGEE in Dec 07 and I'm still tryign to pass TOEFL iBT, my next attempt will be next month.

I will appreciate your help.

Thank you.

I am pretty sure that, there is no expiration (insert demonstrative pronoun here) efor FPGEE. I have friends who have done that for 5 years. Don't worry.

There is no expiration date. However, you have to contact them every 2 years otherwise they close the file. Just write them a letter that you are working for Toefl and want to get FPGEC etc.

Hi, Sad cat

Are you sure they close your file if you dont contact them 2 years???
I am freaking out!!
I passed FPGEE in 2005 and have never told them that i am still woking on TOEFL...
Last time I contacted them was Oct 2007 when I updated my new address and requested them to send me another score result of FPGEE.
But I never told them I am working on TOEFL...

I got to call them ...
But where did you get the info that they close your file if you dont contact them 2years?

No expiration for FPGEC.
TOEFL is valid for two years. For ex. if you took TOEFL first and can't pass FPGEE per two years you have to repeat your language test. Normally people go for FPGEE first and than for TOEFL. As soon as you submit both and get your FPGEC certificate you don't have to wary about TOEFL expiration date.
Good luck

Laura
We are not taling about FPGEC experation here...you are confused.

Pam 1081,
FPGEE used to have 2 year expration before but they removed the rule.
But like Sad cat says I guess you should notify them that you are still working on TOEFL...
