Hi!
I need some help from you guys. I have problems passing the TOEFL exam. I passed FPGEE after the first attempt with 112, but it seems impossible to pass the speaking section of TOEFL. I get 24, being graded good, fair and fair all the time. Is it worth applying for rescoring? I want to know if other people with the same score and being graded the same (1 good and 2 fair grades) got 26 after rescoring. Thank you!!! |

Sure, why not get your TOEFL rescored? If you can afford it, then it may be worth it. Don't get your hopes up, though: there is a chance that your score may be lower!
For speaking, I highly recommend focusing on rhythm, intonation, and connected speech. It is very important to speak smoothly. Try to use phrases rather than individual words. Otherwise, your ... speaking ... will ... sound ... like ... this. |

I agreed, concentrate on pronunciation and logical flow of your answer.
Don't try to get all things done such as making statement, giving examples etc. DO NOT speak fast even if you see that time is running and you're not completing the task. I even didn't finish answering the question when I've got the best result. Do not rely on rescoring. As it was stated above your score can go down. I hope it helps. Good luck. |
