Foreign Pharmacists who are not in the USA

Hello,
I am waiting for my FPGEC right now. Now, I am not in the States. The question is:
Can I apply for internship while I am outside the US ; I mean is it possible to get H1 sponser without doing a real interview ( I heard that many companies do phone interviews).
The second question is: what are the states that have the most severe shortage of pharmacists in case I want to apply for an intern license. Also, is it true that some states do not accept pharmacists who do not have SSN ( I heard that some states do not accept deficiency letters).

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Orwa,

You have achieved a very important step. For now dont bother about which State you will eventually secure your Internship with.
Just send your Resume and FPGEC to as many Chain Pharmacy as you can. Its when they slate you down for Internship that they
will tell you which of the states they have openning.

Also, most Chain Pharmacy do conduct Telephone Interviews as it was in my case. Pls browse this forum very well as most of your
difficulties have already received attention from those ahead of you as you will discover.
The SSN issue is better left to when you have secured a Chain Pharmacy to do your internship with.
