How to sit for NAPLEX without US-issued ID
Hi all, I'm a foreign grad and just sat for FPGEE. I'm gathering information on how to apply for NAPLEX. In NY, the state board requires NAPLEX before internship, means I'LL be taking the test without any H1B or social security number.
However, the primary ID required for NAPLEX is a US-issued ID such as US passport, US driver's license. How am I supposed to get these since I'm a foreigner? How do you guys deal with this issue? ![]() |

Guys, good news! Foreigners can apply for US state ID. This is what you need for NY state (driver's license or non-driver photo ID):
1. Foreign passport with a valid visa (F1, F2, J1, J2)- 3 points 2. Valid credit card/ ATM bank card - 1 point 3. College ID with transcript - 2 points 4. Health insurance card - 1 point 5. US employee ID card - 1 point 6. US utility bill (must include your name and address) - 1 point 7. US supermarket check cashing card (must have your signature and pre-printed name) - 1 point If you have social security card, you need any 4 points from the above proof of name. If you do not have a social security card, you will a letter of ineligibility from the Social Security Administration plus 6 points. I hope this helps. Do not give up. It is possible. |
