I would say you will be fine , just relax and take it easy. Have you got a Green card since I am finding the hardest thing is getting a company to sponsor me. Just make sure you include your Pre-reg year as study year too.

Hi Fafy. Congratulations for getting a real license.
I have a couple of questions. I'm just wondering if there any time limitation from getting a intern license to fulfilling internship? And also, should we do internship both in local pharmacy and hospital? |

Pharmgreen, I don't understand your question. The internship doesn't have to be in both hospital and retail. You can do whatever you want.

Hi Phamgreen,
In CA yes, you have to do both, retail and hospital. 1728. Requirements for Examination. by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education.(a) Prior to receiving authorization from the board to take the pharmacist licensure examinations required by section 4200 of the Business and Professions Code, applicants shall submit to the board the following: (1) Proof of 1500 hours of pharmacy practice experience that meets the following requirements: (A) A minimum of 900 hours of pharmacy practice experience obtained in a pharmacy. (B) A maximum of 600 hours of pharmacy practice experience may be granted at the discretion of the board for other experience substantially related to the practice of pharmacy. (C) Experience in both community pharmacy and institutional pharmacy practice settings. (D) Pharmacy practice experience that satisfies the requirements for both introductory and advanced pharmacy practice experiences established Last edited by editkalo : 2009 November 7th at 06:37 PM. |

There is one more thing that I want to make sure. Shoud we finish our internship within a certain time like 2 years or something after we get the internship license? |
