Hello all,am wondering,how much chian pharmacies are paying for grad interns in Michigan?if u guys have any idea pls let me know,thanks in advance

hi my name is bhanu i also applied for internship in MI state i got a letter from them stating verification of a score for TOEFL,verification of passage of the FPGEE sent to this office. i already contacted ETS about TOEFL score my q is about FPGEE should i contact NABP to send te score directly to them? i mailed copies of both TOEFL and passing score of FPGEE. your response is highly appreciated.

who did you write to in michigan about internship licence?I have FPGEE but dont know what process to follow for internship.do we write to the board first or do we look for employers directly??please help

hello pharmjay, download the application form from website for PHARMACIST LIMITED LICENSE and fill out the form and send the application form with the fees. u have to send a copy of score report of FPGEE and call ets to send the score report for TOEFL. u don't need TSE.

full time that is 40 hrs/week pay is 19-21$per hour .depending on the pharmacy.last week heard that it goes upto $25 .but i think that is for interns who are in pharmacy school in the US.so I think there is no harm in asking for $22-25/hr.if they don`t pay so much they will tell you.

u do need a 50 score in Michigan although they say you don't.when u contact pharmacy recruiters the first thing they ask u is TSE score.due to the availabilty of interns,your TSE score is important now.i wasted a year because of tSe and have a first hand experience of trying to get h-1 with a TSE 45.its not good at all.

Need your help.I am currently staying in windsor... Canada and trying to look for a job as an intern in any pharmacy in detroit, I cleared FPGEE TSE -50 AND TOEFL- 270.
I would appreciate if anyone can forward the address and tel nos of the important chian group managers in the area.

Hi TSERB2005,
And did u get your H1B visa easily when u finshed your TSE 5 score. I got my TSE score report and I got 5 from the first time and I alread did TOEFL 2 months and scored 270 with 6 in writing now I'll start to prepare for FPGEE but I dont want to study for it and pay more than 2000 for FPGEE and plan ticket and then find it impossible to get H1B visa??? plz let me know how it went with u??
