Dear friends,
I am planning to apply for an intern license in california. If i apply without FPGEC, will i get deficiency letter ??. I need deficiency letter to get my H1b processed.

Meantime, i am expecting my FPGEC. i finished all the required exams and waiting for FPGEC. But meantime, i want to apply for h1b.

Pls share your experiences, with california board.

I applied before i got my FPGEC and got a letter from them saying i need to send my certificate in order for them to continue with my processing.I dont think that qualifies a deficiency letter bcoz they didnt say anything about ssn.

Hi,

I have a same question as tseielts. I am also waiting for my FPGEE Certificate. without these and CA Intern license deficiency letter, the company doesn't want to file my H1. I am worried because when i will get my certificate and deficiecy letter. the H1B cap will be finished. I also want to know that can I still go for Live scan test( fingerprint test) without ssn. Please help me.

Hi Pharmjay,

I didnot get any sponser yet, because they are asking FPGEE Certificate and CA intern deficiency letter. I contact Walgreens and Rite aid. U can apply in Rite aid. I think so they have opening in Northern California.

Hi tseielts,

i do not understand why you want to apply for H1B if you have SSN. If you have SSN, just wait for FPGEE Certificate and directly apply for CA Intern license. After that you will get a job. I don't think so they will give you a deficiency letter. We need deficiency letter writing that we do not have ssn and on the basis of that the sponser will file our H1B, but for that we must have FPGEE Certificate.

I have SSN, because i work part time in a school. And now, still i am waiting for fpgec. And rite aid said, without deficiency letter OR intern license, they cannot process H1.
And to get, intern license, i need fpgec. But i am not expecting it soon. I dont know, how many days it may take. If i go on waiting for fpgec, the H1 quota will be finished. so, i want to process H1 with the deficiency letter. So, now, can i get deficiency letter if i apply.
Hope you understood my problem now.

how come alot of people are talking about the H1 quota finishing.I thought it finishes in October 2006 meaning theres still time or is it me who is mis-informed?

how long ca board will take to issue license
can they issue a letter i met all the requirements for intern.it is still under processing.by this letter i can apply for h-1B visa
