Hi , i'v been approved for FPGEE in June 2006 and I started with Morris Cody but i need an advice from guys who passed the test , about the major topics i have to focus on , cause i don't think time is helping me and the Morris Cody is a large review ... is it enough to focus on Q & A from Manan Shroff ... Please help me fast with this .. I really appreciate it and thank u for ur kindness

Hi!
In my opinion,thorough knowledge about the question and answers in mannon shoff is enough.
I passed 2005 june FPGEE, but I did not study morris and cody much exept few Imp topics(Elaborated explanations for the answers in Mannon shroff).Most of the management questions in the exam are general questions,You can read the question and can choose the answer just by using commonsense.
It may not be right,but this is what I felt.

I don't think that only Manan Shrof Q&A enough.You should study from Comprehensive Pharmacy Review too,at least pharmacology part.

When did you graduate TSE?
It is hard to believe that you passed the exam just studying questions and answers................

I meant that mannon&shroff is good for quick review and for the management part.
I did not study entire morris& cody for management.
I've studied comprehensive pharmacy review by leon shargel completely exept few chapters, and mannon&shroff.Do not spend much time to study Morris& cody for management part.

Hi ,my name is Tasneem and i passed my FPGEE in DEC 2005.
i just read ur concern regarding ur preparation.
i would personally suggest you to go thru first section or part 1 of leon shargel . If u have leon shargel,try to review phart 1 section which includes pharmacology ,chem,pharmaceutics.
and yes do concentrate on structral chemistry of drugs ok .and yes do review anti biotics chapter thoroghly.leon shargel is enough.

I would agree with Tasneem, Shargel is the book I used with much success, good luck.

I registered for fpgee in june'06.I started with shargel last month...i would really appreciate ur help if u can suggest some other books besides cpr
