hi guys

My h1 is yet to be filed but the company has promised and started priliminary paperwork. but i know the frustration and turmoil one undergoes so i wanted to just help out others like me.

here are few more Ids of PDMs and supervisors for Walgreens in CA. however you need to send your resume and other docs to internationalpharmacist@walgreens.com too to check the availability of h1 sponsorship first.

I had mailed to all the PDMs of eckerd and they just told me that they'll begin screening resumes in march end but never got back any calls from them.

so i guess you hit the jackpot only if you choose the area where there is dearth of pharmacist like remote areas or where the company is opening new stores or has very heavy workload. And ofcourse your appraoch and conviction towards the job and company plays a major role in the interview.

so keep your ears and channels of communication open with other fellow pharmacists.

Hi everybody
i also sent my resume to eckerd and they didnt reply. CVS also has no H1 sponsership for internships i guess. and walgreens is too slowto process my application. is anybody has any idea how to apply for intern position apart from asking the company directily? i am trying for internship from last 2 months but nobody is ready to sponser my H1 on inernship. thans for all the sugestions in advance

Hi! Pharm2005, Thanks for the list...how generous of you to share those... You're right of what you've said about Ms. Mahmoud of Rite aid, I've inquired about a possible offer for a TN visa sponsorship for a Canadian citizen like me so I would be able to work as an Intern MD,MI or VA etc...etc..but she said there's no vacancy in MD......anyway,maybe Rite aid is not really for us or maybe there's other better companies out there or maybe God has other plans....

To all foreign-trained pharmacists, don't lost hope...live up to your dreams! keep going and pray above all,He'll direct your paths and everything will be alright.

you are very right,esg! Amen to that.

A lot of times, we think that, this the best for us but it is only second best of what is the real God's plan for us. It is always in His time.

He allowed us to be pharmacists from our birth country, may He allow us to be US pharmacist, ....my prayers to us June FPGEE takers. Completely trust Him but we have to do what we have to do.....study hard..hayyyyyy

Hi guys,
I need some help in this matter as it's my first time. I passed the FPGEE,TOEFL and TSE and now i'm waiting for the FPGEC Certificate which i'm gonna get within 3 months.
I want to apply for the NAPLEX in NY as i heared that NY is the only state that accepts applying for NAPLEX without the internship hours like all states need. So do i need to receive the FPGEC certificate first before applying or i can do that with the FPGEE ,TOEFL and TSE score reports only? and does anybody know who to contact for applying for the NAPLEX,the NABP or the NY board of pharmacy?

Is there anyone to pay for legal fees for H1-B visa even though he(she) is employed by big chain pharmacies or to hear about this?
