hi every body, first i would like to thank this great site and the old members who always there to help the new one by providing them information.GOD bless them

i have a questions
Q1 my h1b was filed on april 17 and i havent got any response from the uscis i thought the send the reciept number after 21 days and now it has been 31 days since my h1b filing and recieve any thing.is there any way i can make sure they recieved my application and i was counted in the 40.000 that being processed now

Q2 is it possible for someone to shift from b1b2 visa to h1b while in U.S with out leaving the U.S if that person still legal

ur response will be greatly appreciated
