sorry but you really CAN'T. not till NABP changes back their rules from 5 yrs to 4 yrs.

no exception.

if you are a US citizen or GC holder you can work as a pharm technician, nothing more than that. there's no H1 visas for that position coz its not a professional level.

Fpgee

Hi SAhil, I asked on of the pharmacist that I know, she told me that, she has a friend who is taking classes at a pharmacy school in California for classes that was not offered in her county, which is Vietnam. But I don't know if she has sat for the FPGEE.

follow rules

it is easy to understand that the new rule of nabp that the pharmacy must have 5 years from 2003 - 2004. and you grad. 2006 absolutely it is not acceptable. If i where you don't be in a hurry you still have enough time go back to school and resume the 5 year course. se ya.. merci ,.....

I'm not sure about that, but I read some where in this forum that, 4 years degrees holders can go for some more courses to be eligible to sit for FPGEE. Do some search in this fourm and u will find it.

Best luck and hope to work around it soon.

Regards,

hi there! I think we have the same problem here. I just graduated this year with B.S. Pharmacy with a 4-year curriculum. I have attended different orientations regarding the fpgee and they say that if you really would like to be a pharmacist in the U.S., the best thing that you could do is study Pharm D. there. Get a good GRE score and try to apply in one of the Universities in the United States. Hope this helped. If you have any info regarding our prob, please keep in touch. Thanks!
