Hello everyone,
I have a question. could some onle halp me with that. I am staying in bay area.
I cleared my FPGEE, TSE & TOEFL. I am currently waiting for my fpgee certificate.I was recently interviewed by a walgreens district manager. she told me that first 1200 hr of internship will be considered as a student internship and that she will pay me only $ 18/hr. i am not sure if thats a good deal. I have green card and i don't need a visa to work here in US. Does anybody have any idea about this. could someone pls help me.

weird...
if she meant you can work before you receive your fpgee cert, that rate is for a technician's position.

after receiving the cert, you are a certified graduate intern, not student. walgreen should offer you almost double than that she is giving you

talk to another district manager of walgreens, they always talk different

in CAlifornia, you need to work on your internship hours at both retail and hospital/institutional.

has anybody else inquired at the CA board if working in one area is enough? or is it really necessary?

is there anywhere to specify about the requirement of interning at both retail and hospital in CA intern application packet?
as I remember, I've never seen it.
where does it say ?

see page 2 and 11 of the LATEST application packet for licensure exam

page 2 is for the instructions and 11 is the affidavit

is there actually someone to question about the necessity of interning at both retail and institutional to CA board? and if it is, what ratio are they supposed to be covered?

When you have FPGEC, they have to pay you at least $33/hour. That how my friend got pay.
