Hi ALL,

Good to be here with you and thanks for all your information posted here.
Finally, I would like to share my experience with you. Because I got confused about intern pay in respective areas.

I am in Atlanta, Georgia and I have GA Intern license.
I am a Green Card holder that means I don't need H1B Visa but still I am a NABP certified foreign graduate pharmacist like you all.

Recently, one of Walgreens district office offered me $13/hr for flat pay as student intern until the last 90 days prior to NAPLEX exam. They only can pay me $36.94/hr for the last 90 days as a graduate intern, not for the entire internship hours.

Is there anyone who ever has offered this pay or is working with this pay now? I am confused...

What is the standard for graduate intern to the foreign graduate pharmacists? Does anyone know?

I remember, a while ago, one member posted the below very silmilar to my case. I would like to know how it ended up.

I cleared my FPGEE, TSE & TOEFL. I am currently waiting for my fpgee certificate.I was recently interviewed by a walgreens district manager. she told me that first 1200 hr of internship will be considered as a student internship and that she will pay me only $ 18/hr. i am not sure if thats a good deal. I have green card and i don't need a visa to work here in US. Does anybody have any idea about this. could someone pls help me.

Hi,
I am based in Atl, GA and have a GC too....and while i havent spoken to Walgreens in Atl...I can tell you that CVS follows a similar policy with foreign interns....we are considered as 'student interns....and while the hourly rate is in the ballpark range of 16-18$....their rate remains same throughout the internship and you do not get a better rate at the end of your internship...
Where are you based?? North/South Atlanta....lets see if we can catch up and compare notes
