i will sit for the dec 2006 fpgee exam. anyone from the philippines who will also take the same date.? im new here.. and i fnd this forum very hlpful.

Hi there!!! I'm a Filipino and took the FPGEE last June 2004 in New York. It was rather difficult. The pharmacy administration part particularly. I did find the basic and clinical science part easier cause I'm a doctor. Yes, I'm willing to let go of my MD to work as a pharmacist in the states. A lot of doctors are willing to work as nurses anyway. I'm still waiting for my H1-B approval, so hopefully, I get to leave this year. I hope I get approved anytime this month so wish me luck. My petition was filed April 28, 2006. My advise, read Shargel's Comprehensive Pharmacy Review. There's another pharmacy reviewer you can get at Goodwill in glorietta. I forgot the name of the book, but it's yellow and it seems good. Plus it's much thinner. I doubt if you'll ever finish shargel cause it's way too thick, unless you started reading it a year ago. Hehe. Best of luck to you. Also, another thing, try to get the TOEFL and TSE as soon as possible, if you haven't taken it yet. If you did already, then good for you. It's much faster getting your FPGEC certificate if those two exams are out of the way already.
