Hai all,

How does the process with walgreens proceeds when we apply for a internship,I have received a reply stating that the particulars have been forwarded to the respective supervisors and all depends on the basis of the interview they call for
If anyone have gone through the process ,Please put forward your experience which will he helpfull

were u successful in being hired by walgreens ? well it makes me wonder to be honest the legal dept of walgreens is not up to the mark i guess well i would say tht i am having such unpleasant inforamtion process with them that though i am licensed they still have problems so i can understand if one has to start as an intern with them i really wish i could personally meet this person at international.pharmacist@walgreens.com and make tht person understand on the process of being updated on the legal matters .I strongly feel tht each case is different as we see diff prescriptions with diff insurances for diff patients it doesnt mean tht u counsel one thing for one patient and it remains the same for all for the rest of the day (comeon its ridiculous )
i am sorry i am really depressed with all the developments tht have been going on and i am sure Mr.WAlgreens has no clue about the problems the other thing amazes me is tht they do need pharmacist's (walgreens) but still why would they have such bad repliesgosh looks liek i can never udnerstand it anyways iam just depressed after all the efforts and hardwork its all gone in vain

Hello Pharmacist0006.. I fell very sorry for you...I had a really bad experience with Walgreens too..It is not similar to your case because I am in my process to take the FPGEE, but I was working for this company as a Pharmacy Tech, but the only thing I can say it is they are VERY racist and when I called HHRR they never told me anything, they said they'll call me back 3 times.. I am still waiting..I guess they are not accustom to work with foreign people.....

I'm so sorry that you guys had a bad experience with Walgreens... I'm having good experience with them. Since last August when I got my FPGEE score I've been contacting them for a possible internship and they have been very helpful and receptive. Right now, after having all the documents needed, including a Green Card, I'm up to have an interview with them.
I wish you guys better luck.

On the other side, I had a bad experience with CVS as they never replied e-mails or phone calls. The same for Safeway, Fry's, Costco, Albertsons.

Again, good luck to you all.
