SSN requirement for intern license

Hi
Can anyone tell me the names of states that do not require SSN for intern license. I am on H4 and so I do not have SSN and having problem in getting intern license for OR.

i have same problem.i am on h4 and i don't have SSN no. i tried michigan and florida. but they want SSN no.if you get any information tell me ok

These are few states which dont ask for ssn or give alternative solution.....michigan, arizona, maryland, ohio, colorado, georgia, arkansas, virginia, north carolina

You can start internship in some of the states with att no. but call and verify with pharmacy board. List u can get from nabp website

namaste this is vyasa.i dont think u can work legally on H4.i have approved H1 and intern job offer and evrything but i can even work without H1.if have any question i would glad to answer,because i have gone through these quiries.

did u get thy intern job offer and h1 this year or before and which pharmacies processsed thy visa? CAn u tell abt some pharmacies that do visas for interns....thanks where are u working?

thanks for info. can we get intern lisece of 2 or more states and then try our luck for intern job in 2 or more states. becuse whenever i talk to a pharmacy they ask me that i have intern license of which state and when i tell them a particular state they say thay have no openings in that state so may be this will increase the probability of getting an intern offer.

Why do you want to change your L2 visa? You're able to work as a pharmacist with it after receiving your fpgec.

why do you need H1 for internship??
On L2 visa you can surely get SSN and EAD and you vey much eligible to work for US.
L2 visa is quoted as USCIS site as "open market" visa, meaning you are legally eligible to work in US in any job.
do enquire with cvs/walgreen/riteaid whether they take L2 visa for internship.

Hi all,
the problem is that my L2 visa will be changed to h4 and then I need to process my H1 visa to work for intership. Is there any way that i can get my H1 visa or work with my previous ssn number after i clear FPGEE
