yeah..i am so sorry..i missed that point...yeah..i ahve green card so it was easy i guess...i am sorry to mislead you like that...but even then, dealing on the store level would be easier ...many of my friends have done that...if they have opening, they will proceed further regarding all these legal issues or they will tell you what's the fastest way to get to the district people...meanwhile just keep calling and emailing....i guess they respond faster to e-mails .
thanks and sorry once again... |

Dear freinds,
Is anyone out there received interview calls, recently from Walgreens. I have submitted all my documents including the intern license 2 months before. Till date no response, they mailed me initially that if the area supervisor is interested then they will arrange for interview. Is this their normal way of processing or they will let us know if the supervisor is not interested. If that is the case, can we ask for new locations? Can anybody is in same boat like me. Shall I mail them and ask for status? All the senior Foreign pharmacists who have gone through all this process, please help me with your suggestions. Many thanks in advance. Sivakumar ![]() |

walgreens sponsor
Hi
I think we need to have patience with walgreens. If we keep bugging them, I don't think that's gonna help us. Don't you guys think that will reveal we are desperate? I e-mailed them 1 month after i sent my documents, they never answered. whoever I call at walgreens, they are not giving me the dist. manager's no. instead they tell me to e-mail international.pharmacist@walgreens.com. I really do not know what to do. who ever gets an offer, plz let others know. thanks. |

get back to u unless u really keep calling them, emailing them, leaving them the messages...of course we are desperate and so are they..,,but i dont know what's lacking in the communication system... |

Hi srj, thank you very much for the information of walgreens. When you got the offer from walgreens, did you get an offer letter officially? Do you know if international.pharmacist@walgreens.com makes the final decision or the district manager decides? Who contacted you for the final paperworks? Last time I called the district manager she told me she has to save spaces for American graduates and she got a lot of applications from American graduates. Right now I really don't know what to do.

Perhaps supervisor may never come back to unless they are desperate for help. What you should do at this stage is, find out their email address...if you call the walgreens , they will give supervisor mail Id. nothing secret about it. Then email them in simple sentese with resume. And Clearly indicate in your mail that " You have Complete Documentaion Process" with Walgreens office. Be simple and straight forward in yr mail, since practically they are overwhelmed with their responsibilities....all the best...

interview
Hi,
Can anyone tell me if there has been an instance where the file was transferred to the supervisor and the applicant was not informed of it? I had submitted my documents to International Pharmacist recruiter the 1st week of January, and have still not received any response after selecting my location of preference...Its been a long wait... |

hey REALWORLD...sorry fot the late reply...actually since i didnt need the sponsorship,my things were dealt by the dis manager directly ,but i was trying the way u were with international.phramacist and etc.i guess they just respond u when they really need you.until then they just assume that u will be available anytime they will call u...trust me,it's true.they r going to take u for granted like anything!!! so be prepared for that even after u start job with them. i am sorry for not being so helpful to all those who are dealing with their visa probs.but when i was struggling,ECKERD was really good with all the responding and H1 stuff.many of my friends, almost most of them got their H1 WITH eCKERDS provided u r going to work with them for 1 year after getting the license ,this was the issue like a year back.right now,the situation might be different.
