hello, regarding the letter of deficiency, did you have to write the CA board so they will send you one? did you just have to leave the space for SSN blank? walgreens was requiring that i should already have the letter of deficiency before they can grant me an interview. thank you very much for your help.

For california SSN is mandatory...board will issue deficiency letter if u don't have one (u can leave blank or explain in plain paper)and give time period(1yr) to submit. Also u need FPGEE certificate. For more information check following links

it took you one year to get your license or your letter of deficiency? wow thats an awfully long time. im in louisiana. no, i actually didnt get a call from walgreens in california, but we were communicating through a friend whom he recruited several years ago. ididnt even get to pass my resume yet, he just said if you dont have the letter of deficeiency yet, i cant see you. i guess theyre also on their own deadline, the start of filing for h1b being april 1. are you in california right now? did they call you? where did u submit your credentials, in the website? i think its really better if we know the email ads of the recruiters.
im just in louisiana on vacation with relatives but im willing to do my internship wherever there is an opportunity. thanks for being patient with me... |

u got me wrong..after submitting all documents they issue deficiency letter (got it after 1 month of submitting all doc)saying all documents are fine and only due to lack of ssn they cant issue intern permit and give us a deadline to submit ssn within 1yr or so. If we are not able to do that then they will close our file. Walgreens has std policy ..if u r international p'cist then u have to go thro international.pharmacist@walgreens.com they ask u to submit all documents including ur fpgee certificate and after verifying they ask u for places u r looking for internship and then they forward ur info to respective supervisors. It takes long time...so if u have not started yet then u should better start now... |

hi approximately how long did the CA board mail your deficiency letter after you submitted you intern license application? i guess im not going to make the cut this year with walgreens. the recruiter said he can only schedule an interview if i have the papers already. and he doesnt do phone interviews, he wants a personal appearance. all the others i got some replies but no offers yet.
