No one can count such big number of applications in a day. if they are that highly efficient, there wouldn't be that long road to wait for green card. There are still a lot of people in the forum who haven't got H1b visas filed yet. Since there is no offical announcement yet. there is no need to let other people panic.

If thats' true. Nothing could be worse and it's really bad news for all of us and future foreign Pharmacists. Even after all that hard work we have to rely on lotteries to decide our future.

USCIS takes more than 4 -7 days to issue the receipt number for the first few thousand applications, how come they can count more than 150000 applications on a day. Please read the rumours page on murthy.com, mentioning the similar rumour last year saying that cap was met on the 1st day.
I think the website showing this flash news, just want to publize their law firm, when no other law firm in whole US can have this information.
No need to panic, don't ever pass this kind of information without any authenticity from USCIS.
cheers!

Absolutely agree with apadua and realworld. The only way 150000 application no's can be counted is if it is submitted online. Anyways it seems that lawfirm with that news wanna discourage other people so that they can fulfil their promises of getting H1b to their clients.
Many of the people hasn't filed yet and you know what today i got an offer from a big chain. Had it been true these big companies would have been first to know this.
So please discard this rumor and go ahead with your filing.
Good luck to everyone.

To issue such news, data must be entered first in a computer data base system. I don't think that they can do that in one day or even 2 weeks. So, calm down guys and let us hope for the best AGAIN.

Best luck all,
