Hi guys
today is the first day of the VIsa submission. Hope this time they increase the visas because i heard that once they increased the visa because of number of applications. Everybody is saying that the visa quota is going to be filled in 1-2 days...

Pls pray that atleast it should last for couple of days. I'm still not sure whther my employer has filed it for me or not??

i have a friend who works in an immigration office.

she said they all worked late in so much hurry days leading to last friday to make sure ALL their H1b cases goes out via Fedex Friday afternoon so that it reaches the INS Monday, April 2nd - today.

their lawyer was very worried about the very possible scenario that the cap will be reached in a matter of days if not in just one day.

Do lawyers inform their applicants, they they sent their petitions? how do they communicate after submitting docs.

I don't believe by anymeans that 150,000 applications could reach on day 1. That is absolute rubbish.

they usually send you a copy of the application receipt notice from INS after about 2-3 weeks

the lawyers have said so publicly as per the USCIS. why not believe it?
