Reporting Internship Hours in MD

Hi everybody!

I have passed FPGEE last December and I've started my internship at CVS pharmacy.
I surfed the website and noticed the "Pharmacy Experience Affidavit ". I would like to know that should CVS report my earned internship hours to the MD board of pharmacy weekly or only once after completing 1560 hours? How is the exact procedure?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi PharmD,

download the intern form from the MD state board of pharmacy, and let the pharmacist fill that after u complete all the intern hours and they sould sign and notarize the form. Then you can send the form along with the pharmacist application to MD board.

I have the EAD card (work authorization) , but don't have a GC yet.

hi pharm d,
congrats that you have started the internship. i have passed fpgee and the toefl but could not find a sponsor this year. i want to start the internship this year on tourist visa as a volunteer. i want to know that is this legal? will this affect me in any way in future? I dont want to waste this whole year instead i intend to complete the intern hours till next h1 b visa pricess starts. I want to know is there any other visa apart from h1b that the pharmacist can find entry in usa to work.

I know that it's illegal to work on tourist visa, but about other options the best thing is calling the desired state board and get the correct answer directly from the source. They are very friendly and helpful.
