I’m not sure….yesterday I was searching for pharmacies that take order on line then I saw this page. I still remember there was something about Michigan there.

I receive my Michigan intern license in 06, I was expired in June 07. I have extended the second year which will be expire in June 08. I just receive an offer as an intern pharmacy but it will not start until May 08. As stated in the instruction "An educational limited license issued to a foreign Pharmacy graduate is valid for not more than two years from the date of issue, unless extended by the board upon written request by the intern"; my question is:
What I need to do in order to extend my intern license?

Hi Mong:
You are all set you just need to fill online renewal license application and you will be getting your new intern license in mail with in two weeks. I want to say you congratulation and start your first step towards licensure. Let me know if you want be in touch with me for NAPLEX because I am going to take NAPLEX in june or july. I just need 500 more hours then I will be getting approval for NAPLEX. So lets see what happens. I wish you good luck and do not worry about your intern license just go online and you will be getting all your answers.

Congratulations for getting your carreer
I also have MI intern license & social socurity number and I would like to move to MI but I heard from some friends that there is an overflow of intern pharmacists in MI and it is not easy to find intern job there ..!!... is that true ?

For Mi intern license,
I called the Board of Pharmacy myself and I already sent my application after june 2007, and they put my aplication on hold until I send them the FPGEC certificate by mail or by fax.
Prior to june 2007 all applicants who received their intern license or yet waiting for it because of the Toefl iBt are qualified to sit for NAPLEX without the FPGEE certificate.
I'm still waiting for my revised score report for Toefl to send it to NABP and then fax the certificate to MI Board of Pharmacy.

So as of March 2008, did Michigan changed to having FPGEC required?
If so or not, what other states DON'T require FPGEC?
(Please don't reply that look for the indivdual states...takes too much time)
