Hi Members,

Please help draft a complaint letter about TOEFL iBT. As many of you know, the test center environment and availability of good test centers for TOEFL iBT are problematic.

I will post the draft of the letter later but I need your help.

Please do not just read. Please help contribute some ideas. I finished the letter. This letter will be forwarded to ETS, BBB, all International Admission Offfice, and NABP.

I am proof-reading it. If you have some ideas to add, please don't hesitate to post.

We all together can do this. If you keep your mouth shut, nothing is going to change. All of us must have gone through the bad process again and again. Your children will experience the same.

Hi Knok,
I read about explanation given to you by ETS representative about change of scores after rescoring. We have to mention that in the letter so that we can argue that rating is not uniform/standardized as scores change from rater to rater.
Friends it is time to act and shouldn't allow ETS to ruin our career.

Hey knok,
Is there any way to convince NABP abt the score, Like that of BPT students. NABP needs all the required score in one test where as BPT needs just the passing score in one or more tests. For eg,, its not necessary to get 26 in speaking + all the other sections in the same test. Even if they fail to get 26, they can just concentrate in speaking in the next test & improve that section. I believe you understood the situation.
Because of the score requirement in each section in one test I feel tired after the first 2 sections, & that reflects in my next 2 sections.

I agree with you. I took the test on march and my scores were : 27,27,22,27 and I have to retake all the test again. I think it is not fair.

Again, to increase speed of reading, please avoid abbreviation, start the sentence with a capital letter. I sometimes do not get your abbreviation.

Can't we convince NABP to consider this?

It seems to me that MD pharmacy board is requiring FPGEC certificate before getting the pharmacy license. How can a foreign pharmacist getting away with the TOEFL iBT speaking?

Is this competency exam replacing the TOEFL iBT? Also, the link to Nationwide of oral competency exam vendors at the end of the page is not working.
