TOEFL iBT Petition to NABP

Hi everyone,

The letters to NABP are enclosed below. Please see the attached files below.

If you agree with the statement in the letters, please print out the letters, sign your name, put your address and EE number on the heading and the end of the letters.

You need to seperate two envelopes. One is for FPGEC, another is for Competency Assessment Director of NABP.

1. First envelope will be sent to the FPGEC:

1.1 TOEFL iBT Complaint, put your address, sign your name (This letter will be the same for every institution; FPGEC, Competency Assessment Director, State Board of Pharmacy and NJ Consumer Affairs). We send this letter to NABP to let NABP know that we also file the TOEFL iBT Complaint to NJ Consumer Affairs. We also want NABP to see the details of TOEFL iBT problems we are facing.

1.2 TOEFL iBT test center problem-table. Everyone may have different information since we took the tests at different locations.

1.3 Petition to FPGEC with the heading to the FPGEC. This Petition has totally different content from the letter of 1.1 (TOEFL iBT Complaint). Please do not confuse.

1.4 If you have specific information that you want to tell the FPGEC, please write your own letter and put together with this envelope.

1.5 Copies of your TOEFL iBT score reports (2-3 different tests). This will help the FPGEC to see computer generated evaluations which are too general that we all receive the same. The score reports may be printed online.

2. The second envelope contains:

2.1 TOEFL iBT Complaint , put your address, sign your name. (This letter will be the same in every envelope since we already put (cc) at the end of the letter. We want to let NABP know that our TOEFL iBT complaint is filing to NJ Consumer Affairs.

2.2 TOEFL iBT test center problem-table

2.3 Petition to NABP the heading to Competency Assessment Director (Please observe that we put different heading from 1.3)

2.4 If you have specific information that you want to tell Competency Assessment Director, please write your own letter and put together with this envelope.

2.5 Copies of your TOEFL iBT score reports (2-3 different tests). This will help Competency Assessment Director to see computer generated evaluations which are too general that we all receive the same.

By the way, we need to send these letters to the State Boards of Pharmacy as well. Since we live in different states, please see another thread. I am going to write a cover letter to State Board of Pharmacy to let them know why we forward the copies of these letters to them.

Me too. I can not wait. Can you beleive after one year of trying to rigester, they are sending me free test of ibt in july 21? After my complaining to bbb, it worked, but I am still interested to send these letters. Thanks a lot knok for your effort. Let us pray that will work.

The score reports may be easily printed online. I rescored my test and made a copy of the previous score report before rescoring. I found that copy machine didn't copy the figure, 2.5-3.0 and fair, on the score paper sheet very well though. Just let you know what I am experiencing. The online score report will show only the latest score.

I met my TOEFL teacher today. She suggested me to send one copy of TOEFL iBT Complaint, not the NABP letter, to ETS.

Hi everyone,

How is everything? If you can post these letters in other forums, that would be great.

I am writing the cover letter to State Board of Pharmacy. We may send another copy to State Board since State Board takes care regulations and controls pharmacists in its jurisdiction.

If you have any idea to write and convince State Board, please post it here in a different thread.

This should be a good start.

Hi everyone,

I haven't gotten the refund of my rescoring fee from ETS, $60. My score has been changed. Do we need to call ETS every time to get our money back? ETS charged my credit card since April. However, I forgot to put this issue in the TOEFL iBT Complaint though.

I have not been able to print my scores since the ETS WEB SITE IS DOWN!!! Every time I try, it says that the maximum number of users has been reached. I hate this ETS, this is really abussive.

I would try again tomorrow, if not I am going to make copies of my originals.

I am sorry to hear that. Do you think that my posts are clear enough? We have two main different letters. One for Consumer Affairs, which complains about TOEFL iBT test facilities and ETS services.

The other is petition to NABP, asking about other English proficiency exam, IELTS, and reduces score requirement. I hope that everyone reads carefully.

I sent mine last Wednesday. If you haven't sent it yet, my medical doctor friend told me that some of us should send the copy of Summary of Score Data of ETS, showing the mean score for American candidates is 22 on the speaking section and the mean score for candidates who came from the countries that their primary language is English is 23. I have tried to log in to ETS account and saw the same page. Actually, the web site of ETS is down. I won't wait since I used to be in situation that I could not log in for 2 weeks. It drove me crazy. Then, when I could rlog in, I registered 5 tests in a row in unknowingly awful test centers.

I just updated the reference page of NABP letters tonight. I added note about Papajohn description and the link above to the reference of FPGEC and Competency Assessment Director. I am sorry that the previous link did not work. This link behaves strangely. When it shows on testmagic, it becomes shrink to different characters. If we copy this link directly to the page it will appear diferrently. I decided to use a full version of this link, which is the second one below.
